Nepal 2013

 I visited Nepal as part of a Naturetrek birding trip called “ Nepal- A Birdwatching Tour ”.  We left London Heathrow airport on 10th February and arrived back on 20th, spending nine nights in Nepal. The photos on these pages were all taken during the trip by myself using either a Panasonic DZ28 bridge camera, or a Nikon P6000 attached to a Swarovski ATX80 telescope. Kathmandu Valley  – Fairly close to Kathmandu terracing of the slopes was fairly common. River Trisuti  – A fairly typical view of the river which runs down the Kathmandu Valley.  We followed this for several hours stopping at several points looking for some key species. The particular section shown held  Wallcreeper . River Crossing  – The locals had more than one way to cross the river.  I imagine the river would be difficult to cross in boats during the monsoon season.  A long way to the local shops! River Crossing 2  – This would not be my chosen way to cross the river! Kathmandu Valley  – An impressive backdrop for bi
